  2. We should take steps to promote the nuclear family, and ensure parents are supported to successfully raise their children to become proud, engaged citizens and productive members of our great country and wonderful state. The government should support parents, working to provide them with as much information as possible so they can make properly informed decisions.
  3. A key part of my platform is promoting and ensuring Freedom. Any action that divides us, or labels and stereotypes individuals based on immutable characteristics is harmful, and I do not support.
  4. N/A
  5. N/A
  6. N/A
  7. I agree that the state should not provide blanket immunity for these types of practices. In fact should the state provide blanket immunity, it creates a risky ‘conflict of interest’ with the state’s current licensing and oversight processes; the state could cut corners and license sub-par medical providers, and patients would have no recourse due to the state’s negligence.
  8. Involving medical professionals in ending life is a tragic conflict with the concept that they will “do no harm.” It’s particularly concerning to allow for medically assisted suicide when considered in combination with concerns that we’re spending too much on health care; this opens the door to ‘treatment’ via quick and inexpensive suicide, vs more costly and lengthy medical interventionOur government was structured in such a way to provide checks and balances, to prevent run-away power from being held in one branch. The governor needs to have the ability to declare a state of emergency – not every scenario can be predicted nor planned for. That said, once there has been sufficient time to better evaluate the situation, the legislature needs to have a say in continuing, and/or confining the bounds of, the specific emergency situation.
  9. Our government was structured in such a way to provide checks and balances, to prevent run-away power from being held in one branch. 10. Taking away one person’s legal rights in order to potentially prevent or minimize the chance that someone else commits a crime is a terrible precedent to set.
  11. The foundation of our constitutional republic is that we have free and fair elections, with every legal citizen being able to cast one legal vote, with the confidence that it will be properly counted. Anything that chips away at this foundational principle is harmful to the future of our republic and state.

  1. I believe in providing resources to women facing unplanned pregnancy to support the health of both the mother and the child during pregnancy and early life of the child.
  2. N/A
  3. DEI is often cast as the modern equivalent to anti-discrimination or equal opportunity laws and regulations. It is a destructive influence that interferes with the healthy culture and operation of successful companies.
  4. N/A
  5. Biological males should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports. These situations create a danger to women in contact sports and rob biological women of competitive opportunities and scholarships. Title IX was specifically designed to expand sports opportunities for women and allowing biological males to compete inherently undermines that purpose.
  6. Society has established norms for social behavior, marriage and families. Not everyone agrees on these standards, but absent clear harm, people should live and let live with respect for those differences. Especially important are the religious beliefs and practices. The “state” can not impose religious standards or practice on the populace, but a healthy republic requires the active participation of religious citizens to provide a stable, moral influence on our society.
  7. Protecting healthcare workers from legal liability is a back door route to implement and support many controversial activities – abortion throughout the term of a pregnancy, sex-change operations on minor children and others. These issues of public concern and debate should be addressed openly and debated, rather than furthered by legislative action that effectively enables them while not confronting the issues directly in a public discussion.
  8. Enabling suicide is not the role of healthcare providers and many will refuse to participate. Services, such as hospice, are available and effective at managing the comfort and support of patients and families facing end of life situations.
  9. Executive authority must have checks and balances. There are legitimate needs for independent and rapid action by the Executive Branch, but extended use of that authority allows and requires oversight by the Legislative Branch. Emergency Action should not be allowed to repeatedly renew, as it did during the Pandemic.
  10. The right to protection of self and family is fundamental in the law. Delaware’s Constitution is even more protective of these rights than the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The focus must be on criminals and criminal activity and it should be implemented in a way that least impacts on law-abiding citizens and their freedoms.
  11. I believe in proof of citizenship to register to vote and in the requirement for confirmation of identity when voting. Voting is a fundamental right and it must be strongly protected. Our life is full of examples where ID’s are required and commonly accepted. I don’t quite understand the reluctance to enforce ID requirements for voting, unless there is intent to violate the rights of citizens.

1.Abortion should be rare, and a decision between the mother of the unborn child and her physician. We need to think about the life of the unborn child.  Hospitals are saving babies at 23 weeks.  If a pregnant mom is shot and killed and the unborn baby dies, is it a double homicide? How many months do you feel it is acceptable for an unborn child to be aborted? 9 months, 8 months, 7 months? I will represent those that I serve if elected, but I believe that people need to understand the meaning of the laws in place and the consequences.

2.I don’t agree with amending the constitution, but I do agree that we need laws to protect parents rights.

3.Lets allow teachers to teach. Our schools are failing our children. Social issues are not the responsibility of schools to teach children.

4.We need to ensure we are protecting our children while not taking away adult rights

  1. My personal religious beliefs support that God knows us in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5). However, we are a nation of laws, not a particular religion, and the law begins protection with “life”. I support protection at viability. I oppose using public funds for abortion.
  2. I cannot believe it has come to this, but the efforts of the extreme left to allow schools to facilitate gender change or drive children to abortion clinics without parental knowledge and consent has made the codification of parental rights a necessity.
  3. We are failing to educate our public school students in the basic academics. There should be zero time spent on DEI or other divisive materials.
